The auction of 3476 lots has a low estimate of $2+ MILLION. It will include the John Pearson stock from San Antonio, Texas, the Ohlsons collections and stock from Butler, Tennessee and the Howard collection of India & States. Also included with be a selection of coins & currency; specialized collection of Austria; Germany; strong U.S. with 1851-57 Imperforate 1¢ blue, Revenues highlighted by the Documentary Issues, Stock Transfers, Wines and Silver Tax; Guam Postal History; and Hawaii.

The APS show is scheduled for February 19-21 at the Riverside Convention Center show in Riverside, CA. The auction will be held in 3 sessions.

The 1st section on Friday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. will begin with a Coin & Currency group of 100 mostly U.S., highlighted by a 1799 $10 Capped Bust (grade au-53) estimated $17,000 and 1907 $20 St. Gaudens High Relief (grade ms-62) estimated $14,000; the Philatelic section will then begin with 500 Individual Foreign lots including mostly classic early Austria with issue studies; and Germany with booklets, booklet panes and Occupation of Ukraine. The 400+ lots of British Commonwealth is highlighted by Great Britain; Canada & Provinces; and India extensive singles and groupings of the 1854 Issue.

The 2nd session on Saturday afternoon will contain 1050+ United States single lots. It will start at 4:00 p.m. with General issue singles and postal history. Highlighted of the session will be a nice run of 36 lots of the 1851-57 Imperforate 1¢ blue; selection of Japan cancels on the 1867 and 1869 Pictorial issues; better "Back of the Book" including "cut squares", Revenues with Documentary including #R135c pair, R507a, R729b, excellent Stock Transfers with #RD333a, RD371, Wines and Silver Tax with #RG79. Immediately following will be U.S. Possessions with Guam 1st issue postal history with a very rare 1901 Ladrone Islands to Great Britain; and Hawaii highlighted by a "Missionary" 5¢ blue. The session will finish with Autographs; Postcards; and "Ephemera" Sections.

The 3rd and final session on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. consists of 1240+ U.S. and Worldwide collections. It begins with U.S. "Collections & Various" of 460+ lots highlighted by an excellent oldtime collection estimated for $40,000-60,000, "Revenues"; "Back of the Book"; "Covers", "First Day & Cachet Makers", Possessions with Hawaii; and over 450+ Foreign "Collections & Various". It will continue with Commonwealth Country collections with Great Britain; Canada & Provinces; an Egypt collection estimated at $13,000; India & States; and Commonwealth general lots with a British Africa collection estimated at $16,000. The 300+ Foreign country collections are highlighted by classic Austria; France & Colonies; Germany & Colonies; Italy with Trieste; and Japan. This is followed by Foreign General collections and the Worldwide collections (240 lots) highlighted by a "Collectors Hoard" (estimate $18,000), a further selection of the "William Littlewood Antarctic Collection" and finishing with topical collections, literature, and supplies.
