The APS show is scheduled for August 9-12 at the APS Auction at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio. The auction will be held in 4 sessions consisting of 2008 lots.

The 1st session on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. will contain 326 lots and will begin with a small Coin and Currency section. It will continue with Foreign and British Commonwealth singles featuring Germany with Offices & Colonies; Great Britain with the 1840 Line Engraved Issue and featuring a newly discovered Plate 11 on cover; and Pitcairn Islands postal history.

The 2nd session on Friday at 5:00 p.m. will contain almost 900 U.S. single lots highlighted by Autographs, "State Postal History", extensive certified high graded used, Essays and Proofs featuring the 1869 Issue complete set of 4 inverted proofs on cards (no more than 100 exist of each value), #11X2 1845 10¢ St. Louis Provisional on cover, #2 1847 10¢ used grade 98, #8 1851 1¢ Type III used grade 98, #74TC6 1861 3¢ scarlet mint (no faults), #122 1869 90¢ used grade 95J (only one graded higher!), #244 $4 Columbian used grade 95, #245 $5 Columbian used grade 95, #292 1898 $1 Cattle-in-Storm used grade 98 (only 1 graded higher), #311 1903 $1 Farragut never hinged grade 95 (only 3 graded higher), the rare #485 1917 5¢ Carmine Error Imperf Never Hinged Grade 90, and #498g 1917 1¢ Perf 10 at bottom never hinged. The "Back-of-the-Book" singles incl. Revenues with Turner Essays; #R132 1871 $200 "Small Persian Rug", grade 98 (only example graded); Confederate States, and Possessions with Hawaii including Specimens.

The 3rd session of 365 lots on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. will feature U.S. "Collections & Various" section of 310 lots and including 13 lots estimated from a low estimate of $10,000 to $30,000; "Postage and Modern Collections", grouping of "Back-of-the-Book", with a separate Revenue section highlighted by an intact Match & Medicine collection estimated $25,000-30,000; "U.S. Possessions" featuring the Ray Coughlin stock; 50+ "Postal History" lots, "First Day and Cachet Maker" section, and "Postcards" featuring U.S., and "Ephemera".

The 4th session will be on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and consist of 480 Worldwide collections. This will begin with Commonwealth country and general collections. The country lots will be highlighted by a high end Canadian retail stock (estimate $20,000-25,000), and Pitcairn Islands postal history. The Commonwealth general collections will be highlighted by 4 advanced 1935 Jubilee collections. It will be followed by 200+ Foreign country and general collections highlighted by Latin America mint modern retail stocks, Curacao with postal history, China with P.R.C., a very extensive Egypt Interpostal Seals collection and accumulation (estimate $8000-10,000), France & Colonies, and Germany with Offices & Colonies. The auction will end with Worldwide collections including a Topical section, and a Postal History section of 50 lots.
