The APS show is scheduled for August 3-6 at the APS Auction at the Richmond Convention Center in Richmond, VA. The auction will be held in 4 sessions consisting of 2129 lots.

The 1st session on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. will contain 375 lots and start with the "Lynn Cooper" Zeppelin cover collection of 79 lots. It will continue with Foreign and British Commonwealth singles featuring China, classic France, German Offices & Colonies, Great Britain with the 1840 Issue, very rare Australian booklets, Newfoundland with 1927 60c De Pinedo on cover, and the Rhodesia 1910 Double Heads £1 Error of Color.

The 2nd session on Friday at 5:00 p.m. will contain 910 U.S. single lots highlighted by State Postal History, 1869 Issue with Essays and the 15¢ and 24¢ "Inverted Centers", scarce Japan Offices cancels, extensive 1893 Columbian Issue with $5 usage on cover, 1898 Trans-Mississippi Issue with previously unrecorded 2¢ First Day Cover, $1 usage on a Zeppelin flight, and the very rare $2 top imprint pl. block of 4, Cat. $100,000 with sound PSE (2017) certificate. This plate block has not been offered on the open market in many decades. Also to be offered is a previously unrecorded 1907 Jamestown 1¢ First Day cover, "Back-of-the-Book" which will include some rare mint Postal Stationery entires. Examples are the 1897 1¢-5¢ UPC Specimen entires complete, #U294S-U331S; 1915, 2¢ green, Die 1, color error (only 7 known), UPSS #2242; 1873, 6¢ dark red on cream, UPSS #WD15 (cat. $15,500), the extremely rare 1916, 1¢ on rough surfaced card, Die II (less than 10 exist), USPC #S39; and the 1920, 1¢ on 2¢ red on cream, Die 2, USPC #S43. Following this will be a new find of scarce red Revenues which include #R306A, R309 and R409. The session will continue with several rare "Beers" showcased by the 1933, 1hhd, #REA158 (possibly two known!), and 1933, 1hhd, #REA176 (possibly three known!) The session will end with Confederate States with the Fredericksburg, Va., 1861, Provisional 5¢ blue on cover, #26X1; Nashville, Tenn., 1861, 5¢ "Across the Lines" cover, #61X2; 1863; and a 10¢ "Frame Lines" Adversity cover, #10,

The 3rd session of 365 lots on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. will begin with U.S. Possessions singles featuring 40 Canal Zone lots. The U.S. "Collections & Various" section of 300 lots will include "Postage and Modern Collections", grouping of "Back-of-the-Book", with a separate Revenue section, "Possessions", 70 "Postal History" lots, "First Day and Cachet Maker", "Postcards" and "Ephemera".

The 4th session will be on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and consist of 470 Worldwide collections. This will begin with Commonwealth country and General collections. It will be followed by 250 Foreign country and general collections highlighted by country postal history lots, strong Scandinavia stocks, China with P.R.C., France with Colonies, and Germany with Offices & Colonies. The auction will end with 65 Worldwide collections with a Topical section, and a Postal History section of 60 lots. It will end with a small section of Literature
