The auction of 1115 lots will be one of the largest selection of lots ever offered by our Northwest operation.

The sale will include Part II of the Howard Mader Estate of Northwest postal history, particularly Oregon. This group of 256 lots will start the session on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. It will be highlighted by some very scarce or unique town usages, many originally from the "Ed Payne" collection.

The session will continue with U.S. singles and Postal History including a nice section of #10's and 11's; Foreign and British Commonwealth singles including New Zealand Postal Fiscals; United States collections including cover sections of Military related, First Days & Cachet makers; postcards (80 lots featuring cards from Howard Mader's collection); ephemera, and over 313 U.S. (with Postage and "Back of the Book" sections), Foreign, Commonwealth, and Worldwide collections including cover lots with a section of "Foreign Airmail Routes". The auction will conclude with literature and 53 coin and currency lots of mostly U.S.

Highlights include; Oregon state collection in 9 albums estimated at $2000, U.S. #2 with variety vertical line through "E" of "OFFICE", #6 used on piece (PF cert.), #19 used (PF cert.), #39 used (PF cert.), #120 mint (APS cert.), #131 mint (PSE grade 90), U.S. collection estimated for $7500, Commonwealth George VI mint collection valued at $3000, and an Austria extensive collection estimated for $3000
