Great Britain, Circa 1913, 1d Blue, German Printers Sample, on gummed, watermarked paper, printed by Bruckmann Printing Co. in Munich, produced in 1913 to compete for the printing of British stamps, but with the outbreak of WW I negotiations were cancelled, great item for the G.B. specialist, Very Fine. Re-discovered 7 years ago in an auction in Germany. Brandon (2007) copy of cert. for sheet of 25. Only 600 available .
