U.S.; General Issue Covers, 1879, 1¢, 3¢ on Advertising to Siberia, #182, 184, double weight cover with San Francisco OCT 18 (1881) cancel, to Edward Huff, Nikolaevsk, Amoor River, Eastern Siberia, via St. Petersburg, left Moscow for Perm on (28 Oct/ 10 Nov 1881) and received an Ekaterinburg c.d.s. on 8/21 Nov., arrived in Chita on 10/23 Dec and stayed there until 5/18 Jan 1882 when it continued to its destination, it likely traveled along the Shika and Amur rivers to Nikolaevsk, the pen script left of the address is Nikolaevsk, Amur in Cyrillic, supplied by the St. Petersburg post office, cover a bit tattered and one stamp torn, but all things considered, it's survival is a near miracle, great exhibit piece, Fine.
