U.S., 19th Century Combination Letter Opener and Stamp Dispenser, ornately engraved curved sword like opener has at its base a detailed face of Columbus plus a second engraving showing Columbus in a sailing ship, Fine an almost identical item sold earlier this year for $400. Undoubtedly produced for the 1892 Columbian Exposition.
