Whittlesey type 2 c.d.s. tying #26, dated Dec 5 (probably 1859), cover is torn and creased at the bottom, addressed to Mr. Phillip Foster, Wascopum was open from 1853 to March 1860 before the name was changed to The Dalles, Helbock rarity 8, Fine.
