U.S. Ephemera, 1879-81 USS Wyoming European Station Correspondence, lot of 21 multi-page letters datelined USS Wyoming, from various ports in France, England, Spain and Italy, from Oliver H. Lackey, a U.S. Navy officer, to his wife and son in Nice, France and Stuttgart, Germany, majority have original covers, generally Fine. The USS Wyoming, a wooden hulled 1480 ton steam sloop, was assigned to U.S. Navy European Station from 1878 to 1881, where she visited many Mediterranean ports. Estimate $150-200.
