Leonard with only pen marking on stamp, enclosed letter is datelined "Democrat Gulch", Very Good to Fine, mining camp location Southeast of Kerby in town of Aloysius; In 1888 it was located on the L. Leonard ranch with his wife Mary as the Postmaster .
