May 7, 1883 Whittlesey type 1 on 3¢ stamped envelope with much inked writing on face partially over clear red strike, few dings on edges, Very Good to Fine. Conner Creek changed later to Connor Creek although this type 1 spelled with "Connor". Whittlesey rarity 7 .
