U.S., General Issues, 1893, Columbian, 15¢ Dark Green, Plate # Imprint Block of 8, #238, top #58 and letter "M" at right block of eight, barest trace of hinging, intense shade and impression, some vert. perf separations at bottom in middle, Fine to Very Fine. Ex MLG, realized $6500 in 2009 auction.
Scott $5,500. Plate block is surprisingly difficult to obtain, especially from the desirable top plate position, only top position contained in Siegel Power Search, offered in 1985 Rarities sale .
