Aerospace, Space Flights, See, Elliot Signature on Cover, Signature on MAR 23 1965 Grissom-Young GT-3 cachet cover, clean. Acted as backup pilot for Gemini 5, in line to fly as Prime Crew Pilot for Gemini 8 but was promoted to be Command Pilot of Gemini 9. However, he and Pilot Bassett were killed February 28, 1966, when their T-38 trainer jet crashed into McDonnell Building 101.
