U.S.; Newspaper, 1894 "Colman" Reprints, #PR14//PR81 var, 21 diff., 1¢ to $48 values, incl. the unissued 9¢, all n.h. except #PR76 and PR81 var. o.g., few with minor faults, $48 tear, each stamp with intense color and proof like impression, generally Fine to Very Fine. The so-called Colman issue described in Luff specially prepared special printings, were pulled in 1894 when the stamp contract were given to the Bureau of Printing & Engraving, 3 sheets printed, 48 sets possible (2 sets imperf).
