Ephemera: 1862 Letter From Union Soldier in "Camp California", Virginia, 4 page letter on Union patriotic letterhead with Liberty & Flag, describing the Union victory (letter dated Feb 7, 1862), "triumphant victory rebels defeated with heavy losses and over 3000 prisoners taken, one of their strongest forts captured, 25 cannons taken with a large amount of stores ammunition", writer goes on with accounts of war, etc., very interesting historical piece.
