U.S.; General Issues, 1901, Pan-American, 4¢ Deep Red Brown & Black, Center Inverted, #296a, unused, "reperforated at left, right and top, few minor faults", nice color, an affordable copy of this rare invert, Fine appearance. 4¢ Pan-American Invert was a special printing and not regularly issued, examples were distributed through two official channels, and the gum on the majority of stamps without "Specimen" overprint was disturbed, because 97 were removed from an album page. They are generally thinned or have seriously disturbed gum. 1991 PSE cert.

U.S.; General Issues, 1907, 1¢ Jamestown, April 26 F.D.C., #328, 1¢ fine, tied by Washington DC machine cancel with clearly dated APR 26 9:30PM 1907 cancel, to New Jersey, reverse multicolored picture of the Capital, few slight soil marks but no corner bends, a Fine cover. Fewer than fifteen First Day covers are known for all three values of the Jamestown Issue. This is a new discovery.
