Great Britain, Machin Collection, n.h., virtually complete to 2009, housed in two Scott Specialty albums, all are n.h., there is major strength in Machin varieties not in Scott, but listed in Gibbons, Meegam's and other specialty catalogues (some of these reference books are included in the lot), these varieties are carefully annotated in detail and won the collector exhibition awards, also included are more than 500 booklets, incl. 50+ prestige booklets with catalogue values to $100, two binders are devoted to minute detail varieties of hundreds of Machins, plus test stamps, gum and paper varieties, and a substantial showing of error stamps, there is a collection of used and a stockbook holding hundreds of n.h. Machins, owner valued the collection at over $20,000 catalogue (Scott, Stanley Gibbons and others), well worth careful inspection, Fine to Very Fine.
