U.S.; Special Handling, 1928, 20¢, Perforation Freak, #QE3 var., unused, bottom pl. block of 10 from the pane. The pane was originally in two pieces and neither horizontal nor vertical perfs, a pane of "Win the War" scrap fully gummed and perfed normally, originally struck so weakly which produced a kissed impression which was used to rejoin the misperfed original pieces, as a result the two panes (this being the bottom two rows) were placed back together with the gummed side stuck down, it was then perforated 11 vertically, full article of the pane is the 1947 Mekeel's Weekly article attached. Unique piece, important item for the Special Handling exhibitor .
