Webster P.M. ms. in black at upper right, oval red Free hs., to Franklin, NH, 1 page letter in Webster's hand regarding payment for stock shares in the Northern Rail Road, Fine to Very Fine. Ex. Alf Jacobson, Worcester Webster was postmaster of Boscowen in 1846 when he created a crude postmasters provisional, of which only one copy is recorded.
