U.S., General Issues, 1893, Columbian, 50¢ Slate Blue, Imprint Strip of 4 and Plate No. on Cover, #240, bottom #77 and letter "S" strip of four, tied by address and also by purple "Portland Me. ?? 1894" duplex cancels on registered cover to local address, red Portland Me. registered datestamp is only partly readable, very rare multiple used on cover, obviously philatelic but still very scarce and interesting, unpriced as a used imprint and plate # strip in Scott, Very Fine. Ex Barry Schwartz, realized $3500 in 2008 auction. Signed Raub handstamps.
