Autographs; Japan, General Maresuke (1849-1912) Directed the capture of Port Arthur Lüshun as Commander of the Japanese Third Army, personally written document on Official Army paper and signed in Japanese "Nogi Maresuke" and autographed in Romaji "M. Nogi", written on February 15th, 1905 from Liaoyang responding to letter from a Chicago boy, also incl. related postcards and adhesive. Ex Winnipeg collection.
