April 21" circular datestamps on blue folded cover to Barcelona, Spain, endorsed "Via England", red "2" credit handstamp, "-1/2Rs." due handstamp, 1859 receiving datestamp, block originally folded over top edge, refolded for display, some slight creasing along perfs, still very fine, a scarce block of four on double circular-rate to Spain, fold through the horiz. perfs of the block, otherwise Very Fine. Pre-UPU rate, 4¢ less than 2 oz., Ex Neinken, Wagshal, realized $1700 in 2011 auction. Signed Ashbrook, Bartels. Very rare especially with block of 4 .
