Gen. for Department of Mississippi, 1864 summons addressed to Medal of Honor winner General Edmund W. Rice to appear at the court martial of General Thomas W. Sweeney (Sweeney got into a fist fight with his corps commander, General Grenville M. Dodge, when Dodge broke protocol and personally directed one of Sweeney's brigades during the Battle of Atlanta, Sweeney was acquitted), 1865 letter on Commissary of Subsistence letterhead, finally 1864 handwritten circular signed by Captain Thomas Eayre for 2nd Corps (he was killed at Spotsylvania C.H. the next month), Fine to Very Fine.
