Medals; Philippines, 1943 Laurel Types I, III, in bronze, De Jose Pacino Laurel struck to commemorate the "Independence of the Philippines" 14 OCT 43. Was appointed President of the puppet government during WWII, Ex Winnipeg collection. 2000 were struck of the Type I, nearly 500 of the Type III .
