Brown today according to the request contained in your letter. I should have written sooner but I was absent from Lancaster. I hope it is not too late. Whilst at Bedford I had an opportunity of seeing many of our friends from the West. The party in that quarter are united and harmonious. They are ardent and energetic in their movement.
