U.S. Postal Stationery Collections, 1850s-1970s Valuable Cut Squares Collection, Cut squares and postal cards in two Scott albums, volume 1 better cut squares, volume 2 is postal cards with a just a few scattered, cut squares incl. many better values with everything clean and very fine, individual cat values into hundreds of dollars, starts with U9; then a number of star-dies with 1¢ (x4), 2¢ (x2) and U28 & U29; U39-44; eight Black Jacks; U59, U61, U63-73, U93-107 12¢-90¢ complete; 1874-86 12¢-90¢ values nearly complete; U342-47, U348-51, many more, postal cards with just a few scattered but some better such as UX3, UX47 (cat. $235), UY4 (cat. $70), more, clean and attractive material throughout, very fine collection. Album binders have mildew issues but the pages are fine. Realized $4600 in 2011 auction .
