U.S.; Postal Stationery, 1915, 2¢ Die 1, With Added Impression of 1¢ Green, #U429i, entire, size 7, knife 42, wmk. 20, with the 1c oval die mostly on right side flap, but also showing a bit in the top right corner and partly cut away by the knife, fresh and very fine. This double impression of two different dies was caused by effort to economize on paper during WWI by running printed blanks of one size through press again to be cut to a smaller size, Ex Flattery.
