Ceylon, Collection 1857 to 1972, Powerful nearly complete mint and used collection in 1 album incl. Officials starting with nice range of sound 1857-59 imperfs (complete except for 8d brown) all used but 10d and 1/9 are unused all with fresh colors and most have 4 margins (4p with cert. has light corner crease), complete run to 1863 used (1/2d lilac unwatermarked unused), 1863-67 sets with both types of CC wmk complete mostly o.g. etc., incl 1872-80 QV perf 14 complete o.g., 1879 2r50c unused, 1888-90 set of 3 stamps with "Postal Commission" ovpt, then from 1886 on nearly complete o.g. with Edward VII to 10r, GV to 50r (incl die varieties) and GVI issue incl all perf varieties, an exceptional high quality collection from this area with high catalog value, generally Fine to Very Fine.
