U.S. Postal History Groupings, Stratospheric Balloon Flight Collection, 10 covers and 1 photograph, incl. National Geographic society covers from 13 July 1934 (SH685) and 11 Nov 1935, both signed by participants, Strato-Lab 4, 28 Nov 1959 sent to observe Venus through 16 inch telescope, Man High 2, 10 - 20 Aug 1957 which set new altitude record (19 miles), and two previously unknown covers from Excelsior 3 from which Joe Kittinger broke altitude record for jumping out of balloon, these are from his 16 August 1960 flight where he broke record which still stands today by jumping from 103,000 feet, during the jump he was in free fall for 86,000 feet and reached speed of 614 miles per hour (another record which still stands), also signed photograph of Kittinger falling through space at 76,000 feet on 16 Nov 1959, cover from Strato Lab 5 from USS Antietam, 4 May 1961 and 2 from Stargazer, 13-14 December 1962, all covers are signed by participants, a UNIQUE LOT, Fine to Very Fine.
