France, Balance of Quality Collection, Mostly o.g. to 1958 in Lighthouse album, all issues represented with a few 5 earlies used, many with Calves or other signatures, 7 with certs., many cat. up to €600, virtually all imperfs with margins all around, and perf classics above average centering, freshness and quality ("European quality"), occasional minor fault, approx. 1918 on some with glazed gum or adherence to mount due to storing problems, 1900 on virtually complete (B10 separate lot) with souvenir sheets, Semis, Airs complete except 1928 surcharges, Franchise complete, some precancels (1922 issue on complete except 1 - separate lot), nice mint Dues except #J1 used, 1893 issue on complete except 1, also Liberation, Newspaper, Telegraph, Alsace-Lorraine mint, French Volunteer complete incl. Polar sheet, fresh throughout, excellent collection to build upon. Balance from which most singles in the auction are from.
