Latvia Extensive Specialized Mint and Used Stock, Many thousands sorted in 5 drawers and identified in glassines by Scott number, some showing listed and unlisted vars., starts with #1 and the various types (some vars. listed in Michel, some unlisted incl. watermark vars., papers, etc.) Maps issue incl. pl. flaws, perf var. on 1 side, better color shades, incl. Michel #11C dupl. mint and used, some later values with considerable dupl. through 1940, also Independent #300-362 with dupl. mostly n.h., strong Semis and Airs (no #C9-13) with imperfs, perfs (fakes identified), no souvenir sheets or Libau, but incl. German WWII Occupation, excellent lot for the retail dealer, Fine to Very Fine. Many of the early items listed are identified in "The Stamps of Latvia" by Stereo Stamps (1979).
