Austria Tremendous Classic to Early 20th Century Postal Card Grouping, Oldtime group to 1920's of around contained in 13,000 in 9 file boxes, both extensively represented mint and used with dupl., starting with 1st Issue of July 1871 through early republic, includes Military and Occupation, C.O.D.'s, many in old bands of 20 (possibly as originally sold by the Government?), some with vignettes and different views on reverse of 20th Century cards, early issues showing different shades, excellent representation of diff. towns both big and small, mostly internal usages, around 2000 (all used) for H&G #1-12 alone, virtually all identified by Higgins & Gage numbers, few modern dupl. mint, identified to #265, also few Offices in Turkey mint and used including H&G #17a, b, largest holding we have seen, excellent for study, all apparently bought from Higgins & Gage 20+ years ago.

Austria Award Winning Vienna Pneumatic Post Exhibit, 1875 to 1900, This 10 frame exhibit of over 300 postal stationery items covers the station cancels with envelopes from 1875 to 1900 and 1902 to 1908, postal cards from 1879 to 1883 to 1922, and letter cards from 1887 to 1922, it includes all stations from P1-15, the number change to W-r and the station cancellation change from CR to 34-r, along with the cancels 36-r to 27-r, cancels 41-r to 74-r and special cancels, also included is several cross sections of the pneumatic tubes certified between 2 specific stations, both mint and used with frames 2 and 3 shows mint examples of the envelopes only, excellent condition throughout, also related notes from John Fluck about the exhibit, an excellent exhibit that helped redefine this classic field and winner of several awards including Chicago Philatelic Society Gold medal award in 1974.
