"Due 11" for clarity, upon arrival at Stratford, Connecticut, the amount of Postage Due was paid and cover remailed to New Haven as single rate with ms. Stratford Ct June 25" postmark and "Paid 5" rate, address additions and postmark additionally tie pair of stamps, cover edge stain at foot, a Very Fine usage, an extraordinary use and a surprisingly rare example of 1847 stamps used on a cover with packet handstamp .
