Our offices are located approximately 15 miles from Portland Airport. All auctions are held on a weekend at a convenient hotel within shuttle distance of the airport.

Bob Beall manages the operation and works in close cooperation with the California operation.

Our Plan:
We hold 2 to 3 auctions a year exclusively in Portland for our Northwest clients with the viewing and auction at a convenient hotel. Viewing at our office is available by appointment. Periodic brochures, will be sent to you to keep you abreast of what is happening with the office.

Our policy, as with our California operation, is to pay our consigners on the 40th calendar day after the auction, no ifs, ands or buts!! Feel free to drop by our office and say hello to Bob or give him a call if you have any questions or comments. We look forward to assisting you in your buying or selling needs.

Christopher Harmer: "I am a third generation member of the Harmer stamp family. I served in executive positions in the N.Y., San Francisco, London and Switzerland offices of H.R. Harmer. In 1994, Kurt and I opened Harmer-Schau Auctions in Northern California. Subsequently, we opened Harmer-Schau Auctions Northwest in Portland, OR in 1998." Kurt Schau: "I have been on the national and international stamp show circuit for some years. I'm a member of the ASDA and formerly on the Board of Directors of the Northwest Chapter; I am an APS estate advisor and belong to many specialist societies. I am also on the Board of Directors of the local Boys and Girls club and a member of Rotary International." Bob Beall: I am a 25 year member of the ASDA; an estate advisor for the APS, and served on the Board of Directors of the Oregon Stamp Society and Northwest Chapter of the ADSA. I am a collector, exhibitor, philatelic writer and former auction house President. I am a regular booth holder at most philatelic shows in the Northwest. I enjoy working with old and new clients in this expanded role."
